 This sustainable waste bin is designed with environmental awareness, safety, and functionality in mind. With a square shape and available in three different heights, this waste bin offers an ideal solution for the collection of various types of waste in different environments where fire safety is a must.




 Features:
 • Fire safety: The fire-safe cardboard waste/collection bin from Afvalbak is made of tightly wound and compressed cardboard (without open cells), creating an extremely strong mass. As a result, it meets the fire safety classification EN 13501. To complete the package, a cardboard lid with an insertion opening has been developed from the same material, which also has a flame-extinguishing effect, in case the contents of the waste/collection bin should ignite.


 • Size: Available in three heights: 60 cm, 80 cm, and 97 cm.


 • Construction: Made of multi-layer glued kraftliner cardboard for extra strength and durability.


 • Functionality: Non-foldable, no moving parts. Handles for easy transport. The lid has a waterproof coating that is easy to clean with a damp cloth.


 • Sustainability: 100% recyclable and produced with a minimal carbon footprint. After a lifespan of approx. 5 years, the bin is suitable for recycling in the paper industry.


 • Certifications: UN-certified and bearing labels such as FSC, Biobased, Resy, and PAP21.




 Recommended sizes for the waste bags:


 • 60 cm height: Waste bags of 70x110 cm, thickness 40 µm or more.


 • 80 cm height: Waste bags of 80x110 cm, thickness of 40 µm or more.


 • 97 cm height: Waste bags of 80x120 cm, thickness of 40 µm or more.


 For optimal use, we do not recommend biodegradable or paper waste bags to protect the bin.

  • Cleaning instructions for the Cardboard Waste Box

    To keep your Cardboard Waste Box clean and in top condition, follow these simple maintenance instructions:

    Cleaning the lid
    • Protective coating: The top of the lid features a special, waterproof coating that makes cleaning easy. Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth to effectively remove spills such as coffee, tea, chocolate, or food residue.
    • Regular maintenance: For an optimal appearance and hygiene of your waste bin, we recommend cleaning the lid at least twice a week.
    • Dried-in stains: Our less environmentally harmful coating has been tested for the easy removal of dried-in stains and prevents dirt from setting. This contributes to the sustainability of the product.

    Cleaning of the inside and outside
    • Inside: The inside of the waste bin remains clean by using a waste bag folded tightly over the top edge. For the best protection, we recommend not using biodegradable bags, as these offer less protection.
    • Exterior: A dry microfiber cloth is sufficient for cleaning the exterior. This helps remove dust and light stains without damaging the cardboard.
