How it works: Since April 1, 2023, a nationwide deposit system has been operational for all PET bottles and metal beverage containers. The deposit bottles and cans must not have a damaged barcode and must be returned in their original condition. This means they must not be flattened, otherwise the reverse vending machine (RVM) cannot recognize them. The deposit bottles and cans are identifiable by the deposit logo printed on them. Recommended Waste Bags:
To make optimal use of the Sustainable collection bin, we advise against the use of biodegradable or paper waste bags. Use waste bags measuring 80x120 cm with a thickness of 40 microns or thicker. The 120-liter mini bags specifically designated for deposit returns also fit in this collection bin.

Cleaning instructions for the Cardboard Waste Box
To keep your Cardboard Waste Box clean and in top condition, follow these simple maintenance instructions:
Cleaning the lid
• Protective coating: The top of the lid features a special, waterproof coating that makes cleaning easy. Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth to effectively remove spilled coffee, tea, chocolate, or food residue.
• Regular maintenance: For an optimal appearance and hygiene of your waste bin, we recommend cleaning the lid at least twice a week.
• Dried-in stains: Our less environmentally harmful coating has been tested for the easy removal of dried-in stains and prevents dirt from setting. This contributes to the sustainability of the product.Cleaning of the inside and outside
• Inside: The inside of the waste bin remains clean by using a waste bag folded tightly over the top edge. For the best protection, we recommend not using biodegradable bags, as these offer less protection.
• Exterior: A dry microfiber cloth is sufficient for cleaning the exterior.
